Welcome to the Oxford Deanery School of Public Health websiteThe School of Public Health oversees all aspects of training in Public Health in the Oxford Deanery, which encompasses the Thames Valley region; including Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. The Oxford School of Public Health welcomes suitably qualified applicants from a range of medical and non-medical backgrounds. Depending on previous qualifications, training is offered for the full 5 years from ST1-ST5, including a range of regional and national attachments for those who wish to sub-specialise. The Oxford School of Public Health structured training programme is recognised by the Faculty of Public Health, which is the standard setting body for specialists in Public Health in the UK. This website aims to provide useful information to Public Health Trainees working in the region, and to those interested in applying for training in Public Health in the Oxford Deanery. Newsroom Click here to access the news archive Meetings/training sessions There are currently no sessions scheduled for the coming week Recruitment Applications for programmes in England and Wales will open at midday on 4 December 2009 and close on 18 December. Applicants will only be required to submit one application to apply for any/all programmes in England and Wales. For 2010 there will be an online portal through which applications will be received.
