Welcome to the Oxford Deanery School of Public Health website

The School of Public Health oversees all aspects of training in Public Health in the Oxford Deanery, which encompasses the Thames Valley region; including Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

The Oxford School of Public Health welcomes suitably qualified applicants from a range of medical and non-medical backgrounds. Depending on previous qualifications, training is offered for the full 5 years from ST1-ST5, including a range of regional and national attachments for those who wish to sub-specialise.

The Oxford School of Public Health structured training programme is recognised by the Faculty of Public Health, which is the standard setting body for specialists in Public Health in the UK.

This website aims to provide useful information to Public Health Trainees working in the region, and to those interested in applying for training in Public Health in the Oxford Deanery.
